Greeting from Raleigh, North Carolina. Team four just arrived and is settling in for their final ride tomorrow. Today we were lucky enough to cross another state border during our ride. This time it was dropping into North Carolina from Tennessee.
We've got to get some rest before tonight's ride so I will try to update in more detail tomorrow after we finish up in Norfolk. In the meantime, enjoy the new pictures posted to the right.

Team Will....Thank you so much for all of your efforts. You are an amzaing group of folks who have "gone the distance". During your journey, I am positive that you have touched many lives and made folks think about finding a cure for childhood cancer. I can honestly tell you that I personally have thought about you each day especially when I might get frustrated at something mundane and realize that my life is pretty darn good and that the Lord blesses me every day. One of those blessings is having in a distant manner been a part of your amazing ride.
I wish you the best as your round the last corner. I am positive your lives will be changed forever. I will anxiously wait for the stories to come forward as you come back to Sacramento. Be safe. And, may God continue to shower his grace upon you.

Have a great stay in Raleigh, Gary & I spent a lot of time in Raleigh (Go Mudcats!) and we loved it! Talk about Rain Storms!! They come down hard, but leave fairly quickly. Amazing lightning storms there too! You guys/and gals are all doing so great! You inspire us all. We thank you for the daily tidbits.....I'm getting addicted to this Blog Site! hee, hee.
Tell the team we're all rooting for them and praying constantly! Go Team Will!

Team Will,
As I'm helping to get my family of FOUR ready for church this morning, I'm thinking and praying for all of you - I'm also wearing my Team Will Polo and band in support.
It's so amazing what you have done...I remember the ride when Ken Scarberry first brought up the crazy idea of riding cross-country on bikes, and the following Sunday at Church when he and Van were getting more serious about the idea and talking about how the ride would support childrens' charities.
I remember those first meetings at Tupolo's where we'd spend hours trying to figure out the best way to make the ride happen, and to make a difference at the same time. I know there were times that each of us was ready to throw in the towel as we developed the plans to raise money, find riders, and develop the route - I'm so proud that everyone kept up the energy to "go the distance" for little William and all those kids and families that have and will battle cancer in the future.
Although I was unable to make the ride this time, you have been in my prayers regularly throughout the past two weeks and I'm so proud that we've actually done it! Congratulations!!! We'll have to have a big party after you've all come home and had time with your families. Enjoy the celebration...you've earned it!!!

It's 11:33 here - WOOHOO!!! Congratulations to all of you on your success and for a truly inspiring event. Thanks too for letting me be a part of Team Will. I'll be your first volunteer driver for next year's ride and second Eric's party idea and can't wait to hear your stories.
